If you have a low platelet count blood can leak from capillaries & cause petechiae. Autoimmune disease causing vasculitis can also do this. Have an examination by your physician to determine whether these spots are petechiae & whether he/she will order more blood tests or refer you to a hematologist for evaluation or whether you should be referred to a dermatologist if the spots are something else

If you are having multiple red spots appearing suddenly on your skin, they may be what are known as petechiae, which can be a sign that your platelet count is low, which could result in excessive bleeding. You should be seen right away by your doctor or at least by an urgent care to get blood testing performed. Good luck.
