I have chronic acid reflux problem. i have been taking nexium for a long time. i am thinking about switching between nexium and pepcid on weekly basis to minimize side effects . is that ok?

Always a good idea to look for ways of discontinuing/ replacing chronic meds. The best way to do it is by using your gastroenterologist’s opinion, who would be in best position to make recommendations in proper clinical context.
