If you had proper testing for trichomonas -- i.e. a DNA/PCR test -- you can be sure you don't have it. Metronidazole (Flagyl) treats trich as well as BV, but the test would remain positive for at least a few days after starting the drug. (But good for you and your doctor for understanding that other STIs occur with increased frequency in women with BV. Glad to hear you've been tested!)
