Recurrent BV...: ...is the best bet. Tea tree oil and garlic will not help, and I doubt hydrogen peroxide will either. Probably you will need another 7 day course of oral metronidazole. After that, vaginal metronidazole (MetroGel®) or boric acid vaginal capsules often are effective in preventing recurrence. If your doc is unfamiliar with these, find a gyn with interest in infectious diseaseas. Good luck!
