A member asked:

I injured my coccyx 2 years ago (couldnt walk/sit/lay properly for a yr). i injured my coccyx again a few months ago. shortly after, i noticed my pelvic floor became weak. could the injury have caused my inability to contract muscles down there?

You are young and the pelvic floor does not get weak that easily. Have your MD teach you Kegels and other pelvic muscle exercises and you will be fine

This may relate to the coccidynia secondary to the recent injury to your tailbone. Sit on a donut cushion, have a pelvic floor specialty physical therapist evaluate you, and give this some time to stabilize.
