A member asked:

When doing bridge exercises my pelvis or low back feels weak and its hard to lift myself into the bridge with slight pain. does this sound like weak muscles or a pelvis twist type issue? i have ehlers danlos. also happens laying flat on the floor?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ehlers Danlos: You possess a relatively uncommon hyper-flexible condition which can indeed require you to exercise differently. Connective tissue disorder patients appear to benefit from less stretching and more muscle bulk building. This "tight rope" approach requires an experienced physical therapist, who can work with you for months, and eventually a personal trainer. Do not despair, things work out.
