Migraines can cause disabling headaches, however, effective treatments are available and you should consult your doctor for an initial assessment and to ascertain if consultation with a neurologist may be warranted. Wish you good health!

Migraines can be "the worst headache of my life". The CT scan is to rule out other causes because there is no specific test for a migraine. If it never comes back again, it's not serious! If it starts happening more regularly, you should get further evaluation and the good news is there are effective treatments for migraines.

There are many different types of headaches. The worst headache of your life is not necessarily a migraine. Please see a Neurologist for a thorough examination.
