It may be bad, but: Bad is not the same as emergency - try to find a good headache specialist in your area. Yiur GP might refer or even a Univ Hospital directory or drug store may have referrals. ERs are full of trauma and possible contagion - if you need it, they are life saving. If not, go to a less stressful place. Here, Dr Dariush Saghafi is an expert and there are others - he's a gem.
