Unfortunately yes: Tinnitus may be a chronic issue. You can ask about a hearing aide which may or may not help. Would get 2nd opinion if unsure of his response.

Ringing in ear: First get a second opinion from another ENT specialist. Second, check with your dentist to see if you may have TMJ dysfunction.

Hello, I have had a post nasal drip, and sore throat for about two weeks now. it is affecting my ears and my glands are swollen.
Its been two weeks since my throat started bothering me and now im coughing, my chest hurts, my ears burn, my head feel tight, and hard to breathe.
I went to an ear nose and throat doctor on Friday had my ears cleaned still have ringing In my ear? Is this normal? It was done by micro suction?
