Less invasive methods of sedation are available. Discuss conscious sedation with your physician. Ensure that your child is feeling well on the day of the procedure, monitor temperature and flow pre procedure instructions.

anesthesia in experienced hands always carries a risk but can be easily carried out, not really super risky and if the endoscopy is really needed much better than other options doe child with ASD
