Many ENT physicians perform an "office endoscopy" without anesthesia via a thin endoscopic device threaded through the nasal passages. It is not completely comfortable, but allows for upper esophagoscopy to determine degrees of eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE).
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
