I am curious as to why you are taking this much D3. Unless you are being treated for a deficiency the maximum recommended is 4000 iu/d. D is one of several vitamins that can store up to excess in the body and trigger symptoms, but single doses would rarely do so. Discuss getting blood levels of vitamin D done before you take more.

Agree with Dr. Ferguson. Why are you taking vitamin D? For a person eating a mixed diet about 2000 units/day is sufficient to avoid deficiency. Your symptoms could be due to other ingredients in the capsules/pills you are taking.
