Ive dealt w/ lock jaw and my jaw trying to pop out of place when i talk or eat and i clench my teeth in sleep along with impacted tooth how is braces cosmetic would it not fix that i clench from over bite (dont mean to) i deal w/ jaw issues alltime?

Jaw joint issues require professional care. Start w your family Dentist. Referral to specialist Oral Surgeon, specialist Oral Pathologist, or Oro-facial Pain specialist. You mention an overbite. Important that you also see a specialist Orthodontist. A nice cosmetic result is a side effect of Orthodontically correcting form and function.
