Angina pectoris (heart pain) can manifest as indigestion or heart burn but rarely vomit happens. I do think your pain was of gastrointestinal tract in etiology rather than your heart, especially if the symptom occurred at rest.

It is difficult to "confirm" whether it is heartburn or a heart attack without more details, but the fact that it did not occur with activity suggests that this was most likely gastrointestinal. If you have risk factors for coronary disease it would be reassuring to get evaluated to make sure that this was a GI issue.
