Chronic use of sunblock appears to be a common cause of Vitamin D deficiency, and exposure to sunshine is still an excellent facilitator of stabilization. Oral daily or once weekly approaches will help raise level, and 4-5,000 IU daily of D-3 should allow reaching goal of 50-70 ng/ml within 3-4 months. Have your doctor check serum levels.
