There are many causes for swelling of feet. I think if she has Ca. of the stomach you should have her be seen by a surgeon ASAP. Good luck.

Yes, in order to receive treatment for cancer, patients should be in reasonable shape as the treatment is in general rough for the body. It is likely much more than just the leg swelling that the oncologist is seeing and that includes blood work and imaging studies. Ask for support for the family and specifically for children.
