I have mild lower tummy ache on the left side after defecation. it is exactly where a polyp was removed four years ago. i did have two normal colonoscopies since that time as my polyp was high grade dysplasia.could my doctor be missing a new polyp?

I doubt that your discomfort following a BM would be caused by a polyp or even any colon pathology. It could be a transient abdominal muscular discomfort. However do continue with colonoscopy surveillance as directed by your gastroenterologist or colorectal surgeon.
