How long until my gas/bloating goes away after a colonoscopy with polyp removed? tummy gassy on day two but cannot pass gas today?

Several days: Before coloonoscoopy the bowel is cleaned out with a bowel prep. L then during colonoscopy air is passed in the scope to dilate it so that the physician can examine the bowel more carefully. All liquid is sucked out but gas in bowel persists and has to be passed.
