I was playing with my dog until he got alarmed and scratched my lips with his teeth. it's not severe and only broke a part of the skin. it did bled and i did all the first aid needed. he is vaccinated and does not have rabies. will i be fine?

I am sure you will be fine. The tissues in the mouth heal very quickly although the lip does take a few day to close. I recommend that you wait a week and keep the would clean and try not to lick it because that introduces saliva and bacteria into the wound. It is a good idea to gently wipe vaseline on the wound. You should be fine. However, I would suggest you put some triple antibiotic cream on it until it is fully healed (Neosporin). If delay any fever and the area swell, make an appointment to see your physician.

Yu should heal in a few days. A little Vaseline on the wound will protect it as it heals while at the same time acting as a matrix for new cells to fill the wound. In the future, be more gentle with your dog. Don't play with the wound. Don't lick the wound. Be careful not to drink anything too hot/cold. Be careful to avoid spicy foods.
