My cat found a mouse and was playing with it (e.g. hitting it with paw, picking up in mouth). i got the mouse away but the cat was scratching at the container and may have superficially scratched me. should i be worried about rabies for either of us?

Basics. House cats with no outside exposure are not a risk, outside cats, may have minor risk. Your county health department would have data on rabies activity in your region & be able to answer this question. The answer would vary depending on where you live. Has the cat been vaccinated?
