My doctor prescribed methylprednisolone (10 days, 32mg) for my mild covid-19. he didn't taper me off slowly. should i be concerned about withdrawal? thank you?

It is not necessary to taper oral steroids when they are given for a brief time interval, like 10 days. When they are given for longer time periods, like weeks to months, then they should be gradually tapered to avoid recurrence of symptoms and/or adrenal insufficiency. If you experience symptom recurrence, then call your doctor. Otherwise, it is fine! Best of luck to you!
