Yes: Everyone with flu like symptoms should be tested for Covid19. Test is becoming more widely available in the United States as the pandemic worsens.

COVID testing: The policies differ by country. In some areas it is recommended that you quarantine without a requirement for testing. In the US if varies by state. Get emergency care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, significant & persistent chest pain or new-onset of confusion.
