Your symptoms are suggesting an arrhythmia and seeing your doc timely would be best. The presence of chest pain specifically is of concern and if persisting the closest emergency room will be best to use. Given your age, anxiety/ panic is definitely playing a role, however an arrhythmia has to be ruled out first.

I get a tightness in my chest making it feel difficult to breath, usually exercise such as walking worsens it and causes it to be even harder to breath. The discomfort makes it difficult to sleep. Feels like my heart's being squeezed.
