If heart if overworking due to chf, does it cause spasms, jerking, a thump in the chest? having a great deal of trouble breathing, deep breathing helps, but when this jerking starts, it is hard to breath. heart % is at 45%. my cardio dr no help?

CHF: When the heart is over working the heart often beats faster and more forcefully. Also arrhythmia causes palpitations. Get monitored. EF of 45% is a sign of moderate weakness of the left ventricle. Since you're experiencing trouble with breathing (?shortness of breath), treatment to take strain of the heart is imperative with diuretics, ACE inhibitors, beta blockers, salt restriction,ideal weight.
