Are their problems urinating for a man after inguinal hernia surgery?

Inguinal hernia repair should not affect the voiding (no anatomy relationship between the hernia and urinary system). However, if general anesthesia was used, some men may have urinary retention post op but it is a very rare complication with the current anesthetic method.

If there were were no problems voiding before then chances after surgery of voiding are very small.
