I would suggest you continue following the instructions doctor at the hospital provided and that you finish all the antibiotics. Keeping the wound clean is important.

What instructions were you given . Do you have your medicine bottle to check what antibiotic was given . Did they take a culture of the pus? Any fever? Any antibacterial ointment ( mupirocin) - need to wash hands first, put on non sterile gloves, wash wound with sterile water, dry with sterile gauze pads, apply ointment and sterile gauze and non- stick tape every (?) days. ? Last tetanus shot?

If they cleaned it properly and you are healing well the definitely follow up with a general surgeon or orth. Md. Scalp wounds generally heal well
