I have a gash on my head, open to the bone, i went to the hospital after a week cause it started to puss and they gavee antibiotics and cleaned and dressed it, what should i do?

I would suggest you continue following the instructions doctor at the hospital provided and that you finish all the antibiotics. Keeping the wound clean is important.

Need more specifics on what instructions you were given to do regarding the Doctors institution on how to take care of the wound. You need to check your tetanus status

What instructions were you given . Do you have your medicine bottle to check what antibiotic was given . Did they take a culture of the pus? Any fever? Any antibacterial ointment ( mupirocin) - need to wash hands first, put on non sterile gloves, wash wound with sterile water, dry with sterile gauze pads, apply ointment and sterile gauze and non- stick tape every (?) days. ? Last tetanus shot?

If they cleaned it properly and you are healing well the definitely follow up with a general surgeon or orth. Md. Scalp wounds generally heal well
