Need post op exam : Following a tooth extraction you can should generally feel a gradual improvement in your symptoms. If you feel like the pain is getting worse it is important to see your provider for follow up. Additional post op swelling is uncommon with routine extractions, unless an incision and drainage was also performed. Your best bet is to see your provider especially if your symptoms are getting worse.

See yr surgeon: Although not common, it can be normal to still have some tenderness after 7- 10 day. However, if you are concerned, go and see your dentist for a post-op evaluation and x-ray.
