One should have one or 2 good bowel movements a day. The quantity is less critical. In case your BM is hard and requires straining to expel it out, you do not have constipation. So let us know more. In the meantime drink extra water(take one glass of water first thing in the morning daily) and also eat fruits(1-2 times daily.
