My mom has left side upper abdominal pain with nausea sometimes. one day it radiated to the back with chills. rib hurts at night. stomach is distended for months. we'll contact gp but i'm so worried about pancreatic cancer. is that likely?

hard to give you a definite answer as it requires exam and testing which your MD will do. But in general chances of pancreatic cancer with those symptoms are low.

Mom has stomach cancer that spread to the pancreas. Surgery on stomach done, pancreas was left untouched (for medical reasons). Possibilities of cure?
