A member asked:

I have been diagnosed with a carpal boss and am having and mri scan tomorrow. i'm wondering what causes the pain around the bump, cause when i press on some of my tissue or bones around it (on the lower part, near the wrist), it hurts really bad?

Carpal boss is not a medical term. Hopefully by now you have had the imaging study and received proper treatment for the malady. For healthy diet: http://www.choosemyplate.gov/., exercise 30 minutes/day, drink enough water daily so your urine is mostly colorless, have safe sex, no tobacco alcohol weed or street drugs. Get HPV and Covid vaccines. Wish you good health!

It can be irritation of the joint between the wrist bones and metacarpal bones
