What do i do? cmc suspensionplasty 6 mths ago. new pain at base of thumb with lump. mri neg for cyst. pain mostly in hand but thumb only bends a little. dr thinks bump is bone but come on overnight. ideas?

Get a second opinion from an expert hand surgeon (orthopedics), as the restricted movement can probably be resolved with additional surgery.

Best to see a hand surgeon. After suspension plasty, graft can be extruded, thumb base can be unstable etc. You should have a complete exam inculding x-rays by a hand surgeon to get more information.
