Can oral surgeons do ultrasound to check the salivary gland in paratoid or do they usually send you out for that? thanks?

Most Oral Surgeons have 3D imaging called CBVT Cone Beam Volumetric Tomography in their offices. They can possibly utilize it for evaluating & treating salivary glands.

Not usually. They have CBCT tomography and x-ray imaging available that the ENT usually doesn't have. Sometimes you have to see both to be fully evaluated. Their areas of expertise overlap.
