If you're referring to fibrocystic changes in the breasts, they may last until menopause when most regress. Birth control pills may reduce pain and tenderness. Wear proper fitting bras, drink less caffeine, avoid eating chocolate, take ibuprofen for pain, apply cold or warm compresses as needed. Your gynecologist may drain fluid out of tender cysts for relief. He/she can advise you further.
