With your family history of a "prime relative (your mother)" having breast cancer, and the likelihood of your having (benign) fibrocystic disease of the breasts, making if difficult to see early potential cancer calcifications, it is justified to get annual digital mammography and even MRI of your breasts if the mammograms are not definitive. Early treatment is essential in cases such as yours.
