There are some conditions which cause dry mouth, not because of blocked salivary ducts. You should see an ENT (specialist in ear, nose and throat conditions) for a correct diagnosis and treatment. Good hydration does not always relieve dry mouth, it only works if you are dehydrated. By the way, there are many salivary glands which are parotid, submandibular and sublingular glands.
