A member asked:

So my primary doctor already called my new neurologist about me and she trying to figure out if i have a orthopedic problem or a neurological problem i been having difficulty walking heavy thighs knee buckling i been dealing with for 5 months why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It appears more Neurological(first priority) than Orthopedics(second- back up specialist). The cause is not yet clear. That is what will be figured out by your neurologist by using tests such as MRI of the spine and clinical examination for checking the degree of neurological deficit. Spinal fluid examination from your spinal area may also be necessary if MRI scan is unrevealing of the the cause.
