So my neurologist think i have a orthopedist problem i been limping for 5 months and heavy thighs every test came back normal my knees buckling this happened out of nowhere should i just go to a orthopedist doctor?

Yes you need to go to your primary care physician who can then arrange for a consultation with a Orthopedic doctor. Sometimes a neuro surgeon can be an alternative to orthopedic specialist as either one of them can assess your spinal problems.
