I have a question so does basically my neurologist said that i have a orthopedic problem i been limping for 5 months and my neurologist cant find anything wrong i have a new neurologist my symptoms are knee buckling knee swollen heavy thighs why?

Your neurologist gave you excellent advice. See an orthopedist, to determine what the cause of your knee pain is. A meniiscal tear could be the reason, but other causes are possible. Get checked.

A neurologist is a specialist in nerve problems. This neurologist has basically indicated to you that your problem resides in the knee joint and this is not his or her specialty. Seeing a physician that specializes in this type of problem will likely lead you to the correct and proper diagnosis and treatment.

The underlying cause of the knee symptoms can be elucidated with an MRI of the knee. An orthopedic consultation would seem appropriate.
