The side effects you described are common and usually temporary. Taking analgesics such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen along with rest are all you need to do if necessary. No specific preventive measure is known to be helpful.

I have had three Covid vaccines with no side effects. If you get minor side effects 2 Tylenol will help to get rid of them. Good L
