Not really. The clinical practice guideline of the AAFP recommends that the first-line antibiotic therapy for acute bacterial sinusitis should be amoxicillin, with or without clavulanate.

Unfortunately (in my opinion) neither antibiotics you were prescribed have a use in acute sinusitits in the sense that they are not killing off the bacteria which explains persistent symptoms. I would consider asking for another antibiotic with coverage and add a decongestant.
