I have epididmytis/orhitis.ultrasound was done found veriocele otherwise just inflammation. .im in a long term relationship for 14 years, married 6 so sti is not likely. on keflex 500mg/ 4x for 7 daysconcerned will this be enough meds?

The recommended, standard treatment for non-sexually acquired epididymitis is levofloxacin or similar drug (e.g. ciprofloxacin); these are more likely than cephalexin (Keflex) to be active against bacteria that cause most urinary tract infections and epididymitis. If urine culture showed a bacteria sensitive to cephalexin, you'll be fine. If not or uncertain, discuss with the doctor treating you.
