Most OTC meds will do, but if swelling occurs than antibiotics are necessary to control the infection. The antibiotics have to be prescribed by a dentist or doctor in RABAT.

The appropriate antibiotics will help control of infection to other organ systems, but will not cure the infection. Take the entire course of the medication, don't stop early. See your Dentist as soon as possible. The Dentist will decide when to discontinue the antibiotics, assuming they are the right ones. You can also take Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen as per package instructions.
