Causes of a bump to appear behind my right ear(upper-mid ear)that is rock hard, feels like an extra bony prominence, as well as a similar bony like bump on the left side near my ear, closer to the base of my skull? they are both rock hard, immovable?

What you are feeling is likely a normal structure, the mastoid process. If the "lump" double in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, bleeds or other lumps appear, see your doctor. Wish you good health!
