I was diagnosed with accelerated idioventricular rhythm last year through a monitor. my cardiologist didnt seem concerned about it,but when i do research,it sounds like a big deal. should i see another doc or what does this mean since im young?

My understanding is that this is "usually" a transient benign rhythm that doesn't require treatment. I do understand your concerns, and I know that internet searches can make things sound scary. Try to realize that your cardiologist (though he can't give you a "guarantee"), has a better perspective than most. If it helps put your mind at ease, a second opinion, is always a reasonable option.

If your idioventricular complexes showed a left bundle branch block pattern(emanated from the right ventricle), your 12 lead EKG did not show a prolongation of the QT interval, or early repolarization,no Bruguda pattern in V leads,f you have no history of fainting, or if your family history is negative for sudden death, I consider your accelerated idioventricular bout benign. ?see electrophysiolog
