A member asked:

I am using emay portable ecg monitor, and it keeps coming up with arrhythmia and vpb ront i have currently been waiting to see a cardiologist for the last 16 months so my question is when it comes up with them, is it anything to be concerned about?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ventricular premature beats that occur on the T wave are very concerning as they can lead to the very dangerous ventricular tachycardia or the fatal ventricular fibrillation. Try to get a prompt appointment with a cardiology electrophysiologist. Your PCP should make the call to that specialist's office which may be at a university hospital. We've all done this. Be available on short notice.
