People with migraine headaches can have nonspecific T2/FLAIR bright spots in their brain MRI, which can also be seen in white matter ischemic changes if older than 50, collagen vascular disease, vasculitis (inflammation of blood vessels), gliosis (scarring), Lyme disease, multiple sclerosis (diagnosed by spinal tap if you have certain symptoms when seeing neurologist).

Not feasible to determine cause of an MRI finding in absence of film review itself. Yes, migraine can result in white matter lesions, but so can head injury, smoking, and a host of other causes. If you wish more direct assistance, you could schedule a virtual consult on HT (www.connect@healthtap.com), but have films and report available at time.
