Husband had fem to fem bypass 7/23. wound in groin started draining yellow fluid 3 wks ago from a new small opening in scar. treating with antibiotics. on 3rd round. still draining same amount, now slightly thicker. what is next step typically?

The groin area may be more prone to infection. I would say to continue to keep clean as much as possible, continue the wound care and complete the course of prescribed antibiotics with a follow up. If there is still discharge at follow up they may culture it to see if the antibiotic was appropriate for what was causing the infection. Maintain activities to allow drainage of whatever fluid is there
