A member asked:

Low wbc, monocytes, low platelet and slightly high mpv. can my gastritis (non bleeding, non h pylori) be related to any of these?

All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, it would have helped had you provided the actual results. Low is not a quantitative measure. Wish you good health!

It is not likely for simple gastritis to cause changes in labs. Discuss your results with your doc who can place above results in your actual clinical context.
