I am on birth control and took azo maximum strength for uti pain. the only active ingredient is phenazopyridine hydrochloride. will this interfere with birth control?

No. Just be aware Azo is a “pain pill” for the bladder, not an antibiotic. You may feel better but its possible the bladder infection is continuing. At your age, you should get a test for urinary infection (Many drug stores sell test strips to determine if the infection is ongoing)
