My doctor prescribed "take 1 tablet of cefuroxime 250 mg oral tablet orally, 2x a day" it is making me dizzy with just 1x a day. can i just take it once a day? how long? will it work to rid of my sinus infection?

There are several medications appropriate for treating sinus infections. Call your Dr back and tell them about the side effects that you are having. They can prescribe a different medication for you. Antibiotics have a therapeutic dosage which is required to kill the infection. If you take less, the treatment will likely fail to clear your infection and may cause resistant bacteria.
